These paintings are about special places I have visited or sailed to, believing these places to have extraordinary qualities of exceptional natural beauty. When I visit these places I feel a sense of spiritual well-being, soothed and cleansed with clarity and inner peace.


  Nature has a continuance, eternal spring and summer always follows spring and so on. There is great comfort in that kind of predictability. I believe this is the root of our soul and attributive to these landscapes. I felt peace painting these special places. I hope you experience the same feelings viewing them. - Susan
